Queer voices Glasgow Hosted a Bring and Buy Sale!
This was in order to serve our community by exchanging some clothes that had been grown out of for fresh new looks!
We also had a Bake sale which all profits went towards keeping our choir going and also towards funding our trip to Various voices in 2026!
August 2024
Queer voices Glasgow attended UK & Ireland's biennial LGBTQ+ choral festival in 2024!
45+ other LGBTQ+ choirs were in attendance with different sizes and ages.
It was a fantastic experience to Meet some new friends both near and far, with multiple opportunities to network and learn from others in our community.

QVG regularly attends the Yearly Queens park Choir Festival.
It is a great opportunity to get to know other local choirs and is a great part of our Pride concert mine up.

The annual Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival showcases how engagement in the arts can benefit mental health and wellbeing.
QVG were delighted to headline this fantastic community event, bringing together a number of local artists, musicians and organisations.

The Burrell Collection, one of Glasgow's most exciting museums, hosted their first Pride at the Burrell event this year.
QVG performed a series of songs from our Pride set to an audience of visitors.

Revolutions: Songs of Change was QVG's first large concert. QVG performed a repertoire of songs focused on social justice, solidarity and pride.
We were joined by another local Southside choir, Govanhill Voices.
